Our 8-week Basic Obedience course will train your dog in essential obedience skills such as leash walking, recall, sit, down, stay, and more. Lessons are once a week with a professional trainer who will demonstrate each lesson, then work with you and your dog on the new skill. Advanced Obedience
Take your dog’s training to the next level with our 9-week Offlead course, designed for dogs who have completed our Basic Obedience Course. Our lessons cover advanced skills like recall and off-leash walking with distractions. Enroll now for a fun and challenging training experience with your dog.

Our Trainer
Sam McGrady
Owner and Lead Trainer
Sam began his career working with dogs in 1988 by assisting a canine trainer in Skagit and Island Counties.
After completing a 1.5 year mentorship, Sam and his father, Ron, began to help train people and their dogs in Whatcom County using parks and various other facilities. In 1993, Cedarwoods Canine School was formed where, together, Sam and Ron have trained thousands of dogs over the years.
Sam became Lead Trainer in 2013 when Ron passed away and he has continued to train dogs and their owners for over 30 years.
